Cookie Butter Thickshake

You may be surprised to learn that the key ingredient to turning your smoothie into a creamy thickshake is OATS! Not only do they thicken this tasty shake-up, but they are also a great source of whole grains and will help keep you feeling fuller for longer. If you find that smoothies just don’t fill you up and you are always left feeling hungry afterwards, then try adding some oats!! It’s an inexpensive and nutritious way to bulk up your smoothie and make the texture absolutely to die for!

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • ⅓ cup rolled oats
  • 1 date
  • 1 tbsp cookie butter (we used Biscoff)
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • A handful of ice

Method:

  1. Add everything to a blender and blend until smooth.
