EASY Orange Almond Granola

PSA: you HAVE to add orange zest to your granola! Trust us, it will change your homemade granola game. Try this with our smoothie bowl recipes, yogurt or even as a snack!

Orange Almond Granola

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup almonds, chopped
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • zest of 1 large orange
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted

Recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup, coconut oil, and the orange zest. Set it aside so that the orange zest can infuse the maple syrup.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine and mix the oats, almonds, cinnamon and salt together.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix everything until every oat is coated.
  5. Spread and pack the granola as one even layer onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes in, and then toss the granola around to ensure even browning. Bake for another 10 minutes. Enjoy!
