Peaches & Cream Smoothie

Warmer weather calls for a refreshing smoothie and this peaches & cream one really hits the spot! It is peach season so we had to incorporate this tasty fruit into one of our summer recipes. We recommend using fresh peaches for a brighter flavour but frozen peaches will work too. Did you know that fresh peaches and frozen peaches have the same amount of nutrients?! It is a common misconception that fresh is better than frozen when it comes to nutrient content for fruits and vegetables. It has been found that the nutritional content of fresh and frozen produce is actually very similar. Plus buying frozen produce can be a super cost-effective way to ensure you are eating enough fruits and vegetables and it can help reduce food waste! Therefore, if you can’t get your hands on fresh peaches for this recipe then no worries.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen peaches
  • 1 scoop (~1/4 cup) coconut cream
  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts
