Chocolate and Nut Bliss Balls

Are you looking for a bite-size snack that tastes delicious and only takes a few ingredients? Then these chocolate and nut bliss balls are perfect for you. They are perfect for an on-the-go snack and are vegan! They can also be customized since the main ingredients are so simple. They’re perfect for a snack or even a quick dessert since they have dates that make them so yummy and sweet.

These chocolate and nut bliss balls only take four main ingredients, but they have some essential nutrients such as protein and dietary fibre from the dates and healthy fats from the nuts. Although these are the base ingredients, try adding hemp seeds, chia seeds, coconut shreds, raisins or chocolate chips. Since adding these ingredients will make the mixture drier, you can add a few more dates to help hold them together or a tablespoon of maple syrup.

Ingredients:

  • 10 dates, pitted.
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup coconut shreds
  • ½ cup walnuts
  • ½ cup almonds

Recipe:

  1. Process walnuts, almonds, coconut, and cocoa powder in a food processor until the nuts are in small chunks.
  2. Add the dates and process until ingredients come together.
  3. Roll the ingredients into balls and place them in the fridge for 2 hours or until you want to eat them.
  4. Enjoy!
