Cilantro Lime Salmon

Salmon is definitely our favourite source of protein to enjoy in the summer! There are endless different sauces that can be lathered over salmon to give it an amazing flavour, but this cilantro lime sauce is one of our go-to sauces right now. This recipe is quick & easy to whip up but has super bright flavours, making it perfect for a summer meal. We served our salmon with crispy roasted potatoes and a simple salad! If you need something delicious but not time-consuming to make this weekend, SAVE this recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 1 fillet of salmon
  • Drizzle of olive oil
  • Sprinkle of salt + pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp cilantro, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • Juice of ½ a lime (~1 tbsp)

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 400F and place the salmon on a baking tray lined with tin foil.
  2. Brush the salmon with oil and season with salt, pepper and paprika.
  3. In a small bowl mix together cilantro, garlic, maple syrup and lime juice and pour sauce over the salmon.
  4. Bake for 15-20 mins.
